Tales of Faith, Lunacy and Revelation is a flow of words, sounds and visions that arise from the encounter between an all-European darkness and the deafening silence of the great American spaces to paint an incessant journey between fog, light and revelation.
Samantha Stella (vocals, mellotron) and Nero Kane (vocals, guitars) are the master of ceremonies on this oneiric journey hovering between spoken word and fleshed-out blues, with a cinematic gaze that recalls the hallucinations of David Lynch, the psychomagic mysticism of Jodorowski and the tragic symbolism of Bela Tarr.
A sound reading in which the spectral and romantic sound of the guitars of Nero Kane (who recently released the album Of Knowledge and Revelation on Subsound Records) merges with the verses of some medieval mystics evoked by performer and visual artist Samantha Stella in a folk liturgy that oscillates between the world of the living and the dead. Racconti di Fede, Follia e Rivelazione è un flusso di parole, suoni e visioni che nascono dall’incontro tra un'oscurità tutta europea e il silenzio assordante dei grandi spazi americani a dipingere un incessante viaggio tra nebbia, luce e rivelazione.
Samantha Stella (voce, mellotron) e Nero Kane (voce, chitarre) sono i cerimonieri di questo viaggio onirico in bilico tra spoken word e blues scarnificato, con uno sguardo cinematico che rimanda alle allucinazioni di David Lynch, al misticismo psicomagico di Jodorowski e al simbolismo tragico di Bela Tarr.
Un reading sonoro in cui il suono spettrale e romantico delle chitarre di Nero Kane (che ha recentemente pubblicato per Subsound Records l'album Of Knowledge and Revelation) si fonde con i versi di alcune mistiche medievali evocate dalla performer e artista visiva Samantha Stella in una liturgia folk che oscilla tra il mondo dei vivi e dei morti.
