Angelene's Desert

It was a stormy night when I walked through Angelene’s Desert. The sky was deep dark, and no stars were shining. The blue heat of the day had been sucked down into the mouth of the spirits. No trees, but the sand rose dusty in my eyes.
My skin trembled with no hope. My mind wandered with no light. Oh Lord, let me have a sign of your reign. The good man is far away tonight, and the woman is blind.
When meadows were green and gardens were blooming, fruits hung on lush branches and rivers flowed in limpid waters. When Glory was the word and Joy was my comfort, birds were singing in diamond skies and Love was the reign.
The man rode a white horse, the woman waited on the river bank. These were the days where Heaven touched our hearts. Gone are the days where angels danced around.

Angels are falling.
My angels are falling.

Il Deserto di Angelene

Era una notte di tempesta mentre stavo attraversando il Deserto di Angelene. Il cielo era avvolto da un buio profondo e nessuna stella brillava. Il caldo triste del giorno era stato risucchiato nella bocca degli spiriti. Nessun albero, mentre la sabbia volava polverosa nei miei occhi.
La mia pelle tremava senza speranza. La mia mente vagava senza luce. O mio Signore, dammi un segno del tuo regno. L’uomo buono è lontano stanotte, e la donna è cieca.
Quando i prati erano verdi e i giardini stavano fiorendo, i frutti appesi su rami rigogliosi e i fiumi scorrevano in limpide acque. Quando la Gloria era il verbo e la Gioia il mio conforto, gli uccelli cantavano in cieli di diamante e l’Amore era il regno.
L’uomo cavalcava un cavallo bianco, la donna attendeva sulla sponda del fiume. Questi erano i giorni dove il Paradiso toccava i nostri cuori. Andati sono ormai i giorni dove gli angeli danzavano attorno.

Gli angeli stanno cadendo.
I miei angeli stanno cadendo.
